Birthday Girl turns 6!!!

My Brodie turned 6 on 01 October!!!

This year she chose a Horse theme... go figure.

Brodie went to her first football game for the local high school and has found a new love!  Between her grandmother and her big sister, I think I may end up with a cheerleader!  (UGH)

Brodie turns 3!!

My little girl is 3!

I can't believe it! She's grown so much in the past 3 years, and now I'm ready for her to slow down!!!

We did the "Tinkerbell" theme since she is "fairy" crazy right now! This cake was awesome!!! The little tinkerbell is actually hanging on a little stand, and it can also transform into a zipper/backpack clip. It's so cute!

Ok, so the plates, bags and cups are "Fancy Nancy." Hey, a birthday girl shouldn't have to decide between two things pink, so she got them both!! Blowing out her candles. It was So cute!

Notice... Brodie has changed clothes since the pictures above?Blowing bubbles at my parent's pool. They loved how the bubbles landed on the water and then caused the ripples to "dance" and make cool shadows on the bottom of the pool.

The spoils of the pinata... glow sticks! I actually figured out my night setting on the camera and I think the "action" shots turned out great!

Brodie got a baby doll for her birthday and her she is comforting the baby as she was "falling asleep." She is such a little mother!

Catching up

Lately it seems like I'm always catching up in pictures. So here it goes again...

Brodie doing what she loves the most.. swinging!!

Ok, on second thought.. THIS is what she loves doing the most! Swimming! She loves it when she is thrown up in the air to splash down in the water! She has NO fear and will walk up to the side of the pool and jump in... even if no one is there to catch her. She's actually learning VERY QUICKLY to swim on her own and now swims to the shallow end no matter where she jumps in! Here, her cousin Allison is giving her a boost!
I'm in denial that my little Colt will be 8 months in 2 days! Here he is showing off his sitting skills. He got the hang of it in about 2 days. He thinks he's so smart.. and he is!!

I absolutly LOVE this picutres of Brodie and Colt. She was so patient with him that morning. She sat and sang to him, talked to him and obviously, loved him! He didn't have a good night the night before and was tired and very content to sit in Brodie's arms.

I know there are no pictures of the boys in this one.. can you tell they are at school during the day again? I'll do my best to get some up of the boys... now that Riley's lip is not swollen anymore!!

I am getting used to my new camera... Brodie "threw" my other one to me and it landed on the lens, promptly breaking. So, now I am using Jason's. Different, but better, he says. I'm not up on all the "megapixel" talk. As long as it takes a clear, good picture, it's a good camera to me!

Oh can looks be deceiving!!!

I can't beleive I did it, but after many moments of brushing and gathering and pulling and tugging, I actually managed to get 2 ponytails in her hair! Didn't last long, but she was so proud of them! You can see one of them on the right and some hair from the other sticking out on the left. Someday, man, someday.

You can't see it here, but Riley lost his first tooth!!! YEAH!!! He lost one of the bottom ones and the tooth was already coming in behind it! Now the other bottom one is loose, too! He's so excited to finally be losing teeth like Randy!!
