19... are we there yet?

I'm a red belt in Tae Kwon Do.

That's the level right below Black, which is the highest (white,yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, red, and finally black--of which there are 9 levels in itself!) I participated for 2 years while I lived in Korea and LOVED it! I never tested for Black because the next time the test was available was after we were due to leave the country and come home... so at Red I stay. Granted, I was only 10 and 11 when I did it, but I remember it well! I hope to get one of my kids involved eventually. It's great for the mind as well as the body. Teaches discipline and control. I was even the "Karate Kid" for Halloween in Korea! Talk about a cheap costume!
