Christmas in Lights

We have a drive through called "Nature in Lights" here in Killeen. It's beautiful!
Come, drive with us...

My personal favorite.

The following three are from a LONG drive-through tunnel with blinking lights...
the blinking varies as you drive..
kinda reminds me of the boat scene in Willy Wonka!!!

Thanks for coming along with us!
Hope to see you next year!

iPhone car

This is Randy's Pinewood Derby Car this year!
Although we weren't there for the actual race, he did pretty good!
He won 3 out of 4 races!!! Go Randy!!!
Just wait till next year!!

Christmas crafts

Once again we made ornaments for the boy's teachers. I could only find large ones this year, but it actually worked better.
Here's a close up of them. The "snow" is actually called "fake snow" and so far it's the best stuff I've found in all the years I've been making them. I added a little bit of turquoise glitter and I LOVE how they came out.
Randy made this in class and I'm definately going to try and recreate it! It's just made out of circles, folded and glued. What a cool idea!!!I LOVE these "Box in a bags" I found at this site.
I actually found it through Angelosity, as always!
Here's a cool new magnet I made trying to find something to do for the boys' teachers. It's cute, but I ran out of seed beads to use in them! I'll have to remember it for next year!
Here was my "almost Christmas card."
I really like this, but I found something else I decided to use that I'll show later once I get all of my cards mailed out. Don't want to ruin the surprise!

PJ Day and Gingerbread Invasion

This is how the boy's went to school on Wednesday. My kinda place!
They were watching "Polar Express" at school and were allowed to wear PJ's. Grandmama found these COOL Polar Bear PJ's so they were all set to go!! They thought it was super funny they had to take off their PJ's to put on their PJ's in the morning!
We made Gingerbread Men (bears actually, and trees and reindeer) yesterday and the kids wanted to share their creations with everyone.
Hard at work...

Riley's tree creation. The cookie cutters we used made stand-up cookies.
Although the idea was really neat, they didn't work very well. Randy's Gingerbread Kid for school.
He had to decorate it like himself for his homework this week.
Tough being in 3rd grade, huh?
Brodie's creative streak broke through.. or maybe it was just the sugar rush.
She made one for Grandmama, too.
And of course... Mommy had to play, but I did a twist.
This is what I call the "Oh No Mr. Bear" one.

Colt Catch-up

Here's our little mischief maker.. not so little anymore!
Before the onslaught of food!
Our little "Handsome Jack" as Brodie calls him.
I'm an American Boy!!!

D-Day with pictures

Our last picture together as a family in 2008. I didn't get pictures of our family before he deployed last time and I was determined to change it this go round. We also got to meet him at the gym before they left, something new, so I took advantage of it for picture opportunities. Here's a little glimpse into the world of deployment.
Daddy and Brodie hamming it up. This doesn't happen often!
Jason smiling for pictures, I mean!
And of course, one with Daddy and Colt.
Arms full of love.
Look! A picture of Mommy!!!
Another rare sighting!
Daddy, his Daddy and the munchkins.
Randy, looking thoughtful. I love this picture of him!
Colt says, "Go get 'em Daddy! Strike Hard!
Move Fast! Saber's Never Quit!"
Daddy and his CO. Apache's rock!
The parental units.
God Bless our Troops.
