11 weeks and counting...

I had my 11 week appointment yesterday...all went well. I got to see the little one, so that was VERY cool! The Dr. here says it's not worth the stress of mother's not hearing the heartbeat this early, so she does an ultrasound regardless. I'm not complaining!!! He/she was very active... moving, kicking, waving and doing half-flips. It was so cool to see so much movement and yet wierd at the same time because I couldn't feel anything. It's strange to think this seperate life is inside and yet I have no physical feeling of it. Truly amazing, the ability of women to create!

On a second note, the kids and I went to watch fireworks tonight. It was West Point's Independence Day Concert and fireworks. No matter how many times I see them, I'm still in awe and find myself "ooohing" and "aaahhing" as much as the boys! I have already planned next years viewing as I found out tonight the best spots fill up EARLY and stay full! With so many trees here, it's not like in Texas where you could sit on your porch and watch all the groups firework shows within 360 degrees around you!
