Oh My...

The boys' paternal grandparents were here these past few days. They seemed to enjoy spending time with them, so it seemed to be a good visit.

I've been trying to get over a nasty head/chest cold that Jason so nicely shared with me. It's made my head throb no matter what I do and my throat feels like fire when I swallow. And of course, I can't do anything about it! AUGH!!! Jason lucked out when he had it... he just dosed on NyQuil and slept all day and night till it was gone. Me... I'm a mom, so I'm not that fortunate. Since I'm baking a baby, I have been able to suck on throat drops and drink water. Sleep.... what's that??? I'm lucky to get 5-6 hours a night, not in one stretch of course, that would be nuts to think I can accomplish that!!!! I guess Brodie is just keeping me going so I can be ready for the baby! So sweet!!!!

I can't believe tomorrow is 01 August!!! AUGH!! School is almost here (silent cheer) but that means that Brodie will lose her playmates. For the last 2 days while the boys have been out, Brodie has walked around the house calling for Riley and Randy. It's been so cute. She calls for them, then holds up her hands as if to say "where are they?" It's going to be hard going from littlest one to "only child" for the school day. Brodie will be 22 months tomorrow. She is growing WAY too fast!!! I don't even want to think about her turning 2 yet!

Tomorrow's goal: reconnect with my boys since I have missed them so much for the past 2 days!
