Summer bliss

I'd like to say the reason I haven't posted is because we have been super busy this weekend, but alas, it's just the opposite! We haven't done anything! Well, we have played some games, made some cards, sticker books and watched some movies during the rains.

I have been trying to find sticker books for the boys for many months. They are all cute and girly, so I decided to make ones for them! I took simple, cheap, photo albums with 24 plastic pages, cut the inside flap to remove the ugly picture in it, personalized pages for the boys and simply slipped them in. Randy likes to keep his stickers forever, so he wanted paper inserts in the photo pages so he could keep the stickers on them, protected. Riley, however, likes to move his from page to page, to hand to face, so he opted to stick the stickers directly on the plastic pages. I think they turned out pretty good.

I'm going to make one for Brodie, too, but in her's I plan on putting pictures of family and friends so that as we spend the next 3 years apart from those we love, she won't forget what they look like! And I'm sure she will put some stickers in there, too!
